Shipping
- We are committed to providing our clients with a hassle-free experience.
- We ship daily basis international shipping worldwide.
- All items typically shipped within 72 hours of receipt of the full payment with the exception of payments received on the weekends (Friday through Sunday) or Sri Lankan holydays (i.e. Public holydays, Mercantile holydays and Poya days) will ship on the next business day. If there is a delay longer than 72 hours for shipping you will be informed.
- Depending on your location and the value of the item you purchase, your item will be sent via FedEx or DHL.
- Every item is shipped with an invoice. Orders will usually be delivered within 1-4 weeks anywhere in the world.
- Once the order has been dispatched, we will send you an email notifying you of the shipment along with your shipment details.
- Please note that a signature is REQUIRED for all delivery. We suggest having your parcel shipped to your workplace if no one is home during the day to sign for your delivery.
- Customers are responsible for all items after the package has been signed for.
- If you leave special delivery instructions you are authorizing the couriers to leave a parcel without a signature, we shall not accept claims for loss or damage in these cases.
Insurance
- All shipments are fully insured in Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd from the time your package leaves our premises to the moment you accept it.
- All shipped goods are subjected to an extra charge of 0.3% for insurance.
Customs, Duties, Taxes and Other Charges
- Depending on the legislation where you live, your purchase may be subject to taxes and/or duties.
- Once the items have been shipped and have arrived at the destination country, any import duties, custom fees, taxes or other charges that may be collected for international orders the sole responsibility of the receiver/customer.
- JEWEL KINGDOM will not be responsible for any such charges. Relevant charges and fees (customs charges, Duties/VAT Tax/Local Tax etc).
- We are not responsible for any items detained by customs or delays.
- Your package/item sent by us will also sometimes be delayed if it is held at your local customs pending charges.
- If a package is returned because you do not pay the taxes and/or duties you will be responsible for any fees we incur, including the return shipping fees. We also reserve the right to assess a 15% restocking fee in these situations.
- Please contact your local customs office for accurate duty and tax information on international orders.
Supervision
- All international shipments are handling under the supervision of National Gem & Jewellery Authority of Sri Lanka.
Accepted Payments
- We accept online payment in the form of Wire transfers, Credit cards from VISA, Master card and American Express.
In case of a damaged package:
- If the parcel being sent has been emptied or damaged DO NOT ACCEPT the parcel, any evidence of tampering should be reported to the carrier.
- Inform the delivery personnel and take pictures of the packaging in front of the delivery personnel. The delivery personnel will update it as “damaged” in their system.
- All damaged and lost claims must be reported to JEWEL KINGDOM within 24 hours via info@jewel-kingdom.com after the parcel has been collected.
- Take pictures of the content inside the damaged item and email the pictures to info@jewel-kingdom.com mentioning the delivery tracking code.
Returns

We have a 7-day return
policy, which means receiver/customer have 7days after receiving your item to
request a return by informing to JEWEL KINGDOM via
info@jewel-kingdom.com

Items sent back to us
without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you
received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll
also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We are not responsible
for the costs associated with shipping the item back to us nor are we liable
for anything that happens to the item before it reaches us. Therefore, for your
own protection, we recommend that you use a delivery service that insures you
for the value of your purchase.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want
is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a
separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds

For refunds, the item
the item must return to the store with all relevant documentation along
with the product in the original condition as when sold.

All items will be
checked and verified by sending the items to the relevant
authorities/organisations to be verified if the item and documents match the items
and documents given at the time of sale before refunds are processed.

We will notify you once
we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was
approved or not within 2 working days from receipt of the return.

If approved, you’ll be
refunded within 4 working days upon receipt of item.
·
Please remember that it can
take some time for your bank or Credit Card Company to process and post the
refund too.
·
If you paid by card,
card processing fees will be deducted before the refund amounts are calculated.
If the payment was via Bank Transfer, any bank charges will be deducted by our
bank before they are sent to you.
